afterthought

I'm still thinking about all the musical instruments and art supplies at Isla Vista Elementary. I want to ship the two rooms directly to the Jaqueira community in Salvador, Bahia, Brasil, and to a public elementary school in Ancud, Chile, and to Ocean View Junior High in Oxnard, California--or, better yet, reproduce the rooms and diffuse them all over the world so every child might access these resources.

The most compelling art I've seen came from artists with scarce physical resources. At least in my experience, when I haven't had much to work with, my resourcefulness kicks in and I create from unsuspected items. Most of the time, I've been spoiled with an excess of supplies.

Then, it's convenient to enjoy a surplus of ready goods to use. Hence the idea to diffuse them.
